Detailed engineering design for Emergency Rehabilitation of roads, bridges and structures affected by storm flood 2005 in Low land regions of the West Georgia

Overall Project Task:
In 2005 due to the flood in western Georgia, several roads, bridges and road structures were affected. The government elaborated a special “Emergency Response Program” to address the magnitude of damages. BT Ltd was responsible for fulfillment of a quick but detailed engineering design for emergency rehabilitation of the affected road sections (totaling 37 km-s in length) with culverts, revetments, retaining structures and bridges;
Detailed Description of Actual Services Provided by BT Ltd:
Topographical surveys of the roads, bridges & structures; Assessment of road sections and structures inventory; Geological Geotechnical investigations and Hydrological studies; Final engineering design of the highway and structures, including drainage systems; Final design of the bridges; Preparation of Bill of Quantities; Tender Documents, and Technical Specifications
